2) What is the difference between a Registered Nurse, Personal Support Worker, and Care Givers?

A Registered Nurse is certified by the College of Nurses of Ontario and as such is accountable to the public and responsible for insuring that their professional practice and conduct meets legislative requirements and the standards of the profession.
Personal support workers may be Health Care Aides, Home Support Workers or certified Personal Support Workers. They are able to provide personal care activities that support daily living in the home such as light housekeeping, shopping and companionship.
Care Givers help provide assistance with shopping, light cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
